Slippage ratio of the propeller is the percentage difference  between actual and estimated distance (propellers pitch) move propeller one full revolution around its axis. For example, a screw with a pitch of 10 inches per revolution actually traveled a distance equal to 9 inches. In this case, the slip ratio is equal to 10% (calculation = 9/10 x 100%)
